Beauty and the Moon was founded by Cole, whose roots in the spiritual community began at 19 while working in a Florida metaphysical shop during college. Over time, she noticed a pattern: many spiritual products were harsh on the earth, overwhelming in toxic fragrance, and disconnected from care or soul.

Living with chronic inflammation and daily migraines, Cole found that heavily fragranced paraffin candles, as well as ritual herbs and oils, only worsened her symptoms. At the same time, much of the tools and decor available felt mass-produced—lacking intention, usability, and reverence.

As she continued her practice in the community, she realized that spellwork often felt inaccessible to many. People were expected to gather multiple ingredients, understand complex symbolism, and navigate uncertainty—creating barriers for beginners and unnecessary friction for even experienced practitioners.

Beauty and the Moon was created to change that.

By simplifying spellwork, using clean and minimal ingredients, and designing candles that are both effective and visually refined, Cole found that her spiritual practice became more accessible, more beautiful, and deeply healing. These changes not only transformed her space, but supported her body and well-being as well.

Today, each candle is designed to remove guesswork, honor the earth, and support magical work that feels grounded, elegant, and effective—for beginners and seasoned mystics alike.
